Mob Resetting and Combat Mechanics
Currently, mobs reset when they cannot reach the player, which undermines the action combat experience and tactical gameplay. For instance, at the Northstone Goblin Stronghold area, this reset mechanic diminishes the value of strategic positioning. Mobs should not reset under these circumstances to preserve the challenge and depth of combat.Enhancing Hunting Grounds
To make hunting grounds more engaging, consider adding the following features:- Loot Box Chests: Introduce chests that offer valuable rewards.
- Unique and Named Monsters: Implement rare monsters with exclusive drops to incentivize hunting.
- Dynamic Events: Increase the variety and frequency of dynamic events. Currently, monsters remain stationary and do not actively engage players unless provoked.
- More Treasure Chests and Exploration Content: Increase the spawn rate of treasure chests and add exploration-related content to encourage players to explore the game world more thoroughly.
Experience Points Balance
There is an imbalance in experience points distribution:- Mobs at levels 20-25 provide 35 experience points, while those at levels 25-30 offer only 38 points. Higher-level mobs should yield significantly more experience to reflect the increased difficulty.
- Additionally, mobs at levels 20-25 stop dropping items for players who are level 28, which discourages engagement with these enemies.
Mage Skills Animation
Some mage skills, especially close-range AOE skills, have very slow animations. Speeding up these animations would improve combat fluidity and responsiveness.Nighttime Mechanics
Nighttime gameplay could be enhanced by implementing the following:- Extended and Darker Nights: Make nights longer and slightly darker to enhance the atmosphere.
- Torch Mechanism: Allow players to hold a torch in their left hand while exploring.
- Increased Drop Rates and Monster Activity: Boost drop rates and monster activity at night.
- New Monster Types: Introduce nocturnal monsters such as werewolves, vampires, and ogres that emerge to attack player towns, creating unique dynamic events.
Kiting/Dodging Mechanics
The current kiting/dodging system via the ALT button is insufficient due to the fast enemy movement speed and the cooldown period. Adjusting these mechanics to allow more effective evasion would enhance player control and survivability. The skill points required for passive abilities should be reduced from 2 points to 1 point, and the same reduction should apply to upgrading skills via skill books, lowering the cost from 2 points to 1 point. This change is crucial because passives significantly impact gameplay. Additionally, skill book investments should not be reset when skills are reset, as the drop rate for these books is extremely low. After hours of farming, players often receive only a few random weapon skill books of varying grades.
